Good Luck and Good Times Derrick
It is now official. We are about to lose Derrick, the one manager who cares about us and is true to "Take Care of Your People." I will miss his sincere smiles and constant interaction with everyone. It is a sad day for all of us. Good Luck Derrick, and Thank You. You will we greatly missed. It looks like some unknown and possibly stormy seas lie ahead for the rest of us. I hear that most of the hostess staff is leaving too. Are they afraid of what might take over as their manager?

Good luck Derrick ole' boy. Hope the sailing is smoother for you at Brinker. I think he is going to On the Border but I am not surest/hostess better hope for Wynn to take over. And any of us who like what we see up there better hope so too or we could get some more that look like "The Bitch" at the front door. What a sight that would be for our customers.
I hope Wynn doesn't leave but I don't think we have much hope for that. He really seems unhappy here or atleast he did before he went on his mini vacation. The rest of the managers seem to leave him out of the loop all the time and I think Laura does it on purpose. I think you guys are right she is trying to run him off too. She felt threatend by Derrick and feels threatend by Wynn so she is driving him away. Have you every noticed that managers from other concepts that come to o'sucks last about 6-7 months before they cnan't stand it any more and leave. Those that are good any way. and those that are not good stay forever or the hourly promotes from within that have not ben a manager elsewhere to know what is good are the ones that stay? Look at Derrick for example started in August gone in Feb. 6 months. Wynn started in Sept I expect he will be gone by the end of March or the middle of April. I wouldn't be surprised if he gives his notice after his vacation in April (I saw where he requested off the first week of April on the calender in the office) sneaky of me -- huh?
What happened to Wynn last night? He was there one minute and the next he was gone. Did they fire another good manager? We keep going like this and we will be stuck with only the ones who don't care.
I was kind of surprised to see him last week any way ... thought he would have found another job when he was on vacation.
well we lost another decent person derrrick and wynn will be so much better now i need tomove on but truth is i think i really care about my coworker too much. all the bullshit aside i really do want ocharleys to be sucsessful i like and love some of the people and i wwould hate to not see theme even here is better than not seeing them. im just a small person in the cog of this machine but i do know my place.good luck to all of u
