Turnnover
Not an apple turnover- Employee turnover. The one thing that Stacey is good at is employee turnover. How many new employees are here this week? It is hard to keep up with the names and faces whirling thru the revolving door. Shouldn't this tell corporate something is amiss at the Mall of Georgia O'Charleys? Perhaps Phil or his boss should conduct some exit interviews to get a feel for what is going on and what is not going on. The lack of consistency in management policies and in who is on staff takes its toll on customers. For many guests, they never get the same server. It is always a new one, provided we don't run the guests off in the first place. The servers who are longtime employees are getting run off. Why are they still here in the first place? Either they have very thick skins, or they just can't get a job elsewhere and are stuck here. They somehow ignore or tolerate what is going on around them and accept their meager pay and go home and have a low-income life.

from what i can see in some people is a devotion and respect, if any, for the company and their job. there are people that have more responsibilities than others. it is tough at times and the weak ones can not handle the stress, changes, and low income. it is easier to work with the situations than to work against it. bitching and complaining does not get anything done and only breeds more of the same. we as a team can accomplish more and be better at what we do which will create a better place for us all as well as the guest.

Shadow is: not necessarily just one person; not necessarily still employed but in touch with his former teammates; possibly from corporate with constant input from the store level; and, of course, perhaps unable to find employment elsewhere. Many possiblilties exist. Thank you for your input. By the way, what is YOUR blog name anonymous?
How intriguing...I must say shadow, you do know you're shit about this piss poor restaurant. If you are phil, I would have a new sense of respect for you. On second thought no... you're still the reason this restaurant sucks.

BTW, it is cool to bash those that bash you, but there are some here that work here b/c they have to and don't need to be told "RATHER THEN BE ONE OF YOU ALL AND FUCKING BE PATHETIC AT A GOD DAMN OCHARLEYS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE..." so before you crank out a terd on all of us here, focus your anger on the ones that actually deserve it please.
The problem is, a lot of the good servers that came in and kept their mouth shut and did there job have been run off by the fact that it isn't a fun place to work anymore. Look at the people that have left recently. Hao En, April, Matt, Kevin, Jon, and the list will continue with this "management team". These people did their jobs and could handle the rush, and now this restaurant can't handle a heavy rush cause we have new people replacing them that should have never been hired and can barely do there jobs. I miss people like Hao En, Matt and Kevin, who came in and did their jobs without complaining, and having to bitch like this, and had fun while they were here. We need them back!!!!
You can keep adding to that list. There were others before them too. Good job Stacey!! Get rid off all the experience so you will have all new young servers who don't know how screwed up you are. Surround yourself with failure and you look so much better. You are the bomb and Laura is bombed.
