What is all this talk about "Cowboy" in the kitchen. Here is what is known. A manager opened what he thought was a restaurant magazine sent to O'Charleys. Upon ripping off the brown wrapper, he was startled to see two cowboys making out on the front cover. Thinking it was misdelivered, he looked at the mailing label to see that it was addressed to Richard.........thus, a new term was coined.

i just realized that i haven't heard from cummingochux lately... i hope she cried when she read what was said aboout her...and these faggot ass comments, about being positive and gay shit like that, yeah they suck. its much more fun to rip on people. the restaurant sucks and we need a new d.o. and g.m. bottom line. happy trails jon huhn
jon if you read this, we will miss you and hope that your future will bring all the success you deserve. you are free of o'chux and that is one thing most of us wish we had.
Does anybody else miss Phocian? I realize that he was the worst server probably any of us has ever seen, but at least he was entertaining.

Woooo, and got that post in in just under two weeks!!! Hell, the post you are replying to isn't even on the main screen anymore. I'm willing to bet that the reason it took you so long is because you were writing a rough draft and checking and double checking for spelling and punctuation errors, or maybe you just couldn't get to the computer fast enough because it takes a while to come down from your high horse. Either way, stay gone.
ok, as far as Derrick goes, he didn't leave because of the employees. He was a general manager in his old store and couldn't stand to be under our sorry excuse for a GM. He was too good for our store. Any manager that comes from an outside restaurant doesn't last long because they see how horribly run our restaurant is. You are right that we have no teamwork in our restaurant. But if the Cumming employees are so good at teamwork, how come every time I see Brent in the kitchen he is standing in front of the window and staring off into space while there are 4 or 5 trays to be ran? That isn't teamwork. I haven't really seen much of it from the other Cumming employees either. That is something we should ALL work on. And cummingochux, if you have a job in the "real world" where you make all this money, why are you even working at our low end restaurant? If it is because you want a little extra spending money, why aren't you working at one of the high end restaurants? Are you not good enough?
Brent is Stacey's boy. That is why he does what he wants and wears what he wants and leaves when he wants without finishing sidework or rolling.
People are on here because they do care, cummingochux. I am frustrated because management does not listen or care. Your other store does not train as well as you think. That is why an adrm puts ramekins in the salads against the rules, etc. Why were all of you forced to transfer here?
Cowboy has a right to his sexual preferences. I don't think it is right for him to flaunt it a work by getting his boy magazines here. I hope chux is not paying for the subscripion
brent is starring off into space because he is counting the extra money he makes giving his 6-7-8 tops 18% grat instead of 15% and voiding off drinks like pam caught him doing last week. he has a good scam going with laura and stacey giving his card options
Well Cummingochux you did it again. Seriously...you're a fucking idiot. You have all these little theories about life and actually think that you are just so wise of the ways of the world. You obviously cannot see that this restaurant is poorly ran by a shitty G.M. and an even worse D.O. It is management's fault. Derrick complained about shit before you even got here. One of the first real work related decisions he had to make was firing one of the best workers we had for something he wasn't even there for. Just like Jack, he got the fuck out of a terrribly ran restaurant. However, you and your infinite wisdom, actually think that this site is the reason he left. I keep reading your post and I could write a novel based solely on your ignorance, but i just don't want to. Let me just explain in small words, and read this slow so it sinks in, fuck read 2 or 3 times if you need to, but try and grasp it...This restaurant is poorly ran and Phil and Stacy are the reason. This site exists because someone obviously tried to talk to both of them for some resolutions and nothing was done. Problems were ignored and they continued to happen. There are so many problems here that should never be a problem in any workplace. They continue because poor decision making and worse problem solving. Finally the macarena and Bush comments were metaphores. A comparison not using the words like or as. The macarena was the first thing I thought of wasn't "cool". Implying that Bush is a great president was the first and most ignorant thing I thought of. I believe that someone as truly ignorant as yourself think that the macarena is cool and Bush is a great president. And you're still sticking with the McDonald's bit? Please feel free to respond and I promise I will continue to exploit your ignorance and shread your dignity in the process.
Jesus Christ...I didn't even see your other post. The ignorance just flows out of you. "And yes, many employees that were once at the Cumming store, including Brent, were fired due to reasons untold (I'm sure you can figure out why), and have just wanted to stay in the company they know. That is why they end up at Buford...guess you guys just get the ones we weed out!" When you were typing this didn't a giant fucking alarm go off in your head, like hey maybe this place really is mismanaged. Employees from one restaurant get fired and then just get rehired at a different store. That is wrong. Once again, awful decision making. How can you not see this? Brent was fired from Cumming, now he works for the same company and has manager functions on his card. You obviously think there is nothing wrong about that. Please, please respond to this and say,"there is nothing wrong with this and it is not management's fault, people that get fired deserve to be rehired at a different store and should have manager fuctions on their card, this way when they do not make their money quota for the shift they have the right to void shit off to make up for their loses." This is a response I expect from you. May your ignorance flow.

If you hate your store and the management so bad why are you still walking in the front door every day? If it is so bad why don't you go start up your own restraunt and shut up already! You should be lucky to have a positon with O'Charley's. All this bitching and moaning isn't going to get you anywhere! So cry a freakin river and grow the hell up! Start acting your age! as far as brent goes, maybe the reason he was fired wasn't reason not to re-hire him, he just choose to go to buford, that I dont know but it is possible. I can assure you that the people of the cumming store work together and sure we have a few sluggish ones but overall we work well together! We can all read this and laugh at how misserable you all are you choose to do nothing about it except cry on a blog...again if you hate your job, move on!
Brent is not the only person that came to us that had been fired from Cumming. Bo, Adam, Danny and Matt were all fired from the Cumming store. It wouldn't be so bad if we were getting transfers from the Cumming store. We are getting the ones that were fired from there. It doesn't say much about Stacy and Laura and who they are willing to hire.
