Promises Promises

We hear it all the time at O'Charleys. Business is booming. You can make money in any section. I will take care of that. Gotcha Doc. I hear you. This shift will be real busy. Etc, Etc......

At what point did you stop listening to Stacey? He talks out of both sides of his mouth. Enough doubletalk is enough! He says what he thinks you want to hear. He does not remember what he told to whom. He is not sincere. His listening skills are non-existent. He obviously cares about no one but himself. The man's word means nothing.

The issues of Trust and Confidence are vital to a successful working relationship. It does not exist here.

He tries to brush off anything he has not done that he told you he would do. He has pretended that we never talked about things that we did talk about. I would not count of him for anything. It is very disheartening to know that he is in charge.

The way Stacey deals with problems is out sight, out of mind. All he does is talk the talk but doesn't walk the walk.Does anyone know if they are protecting our SSN#S? I haven't seen a paper shredder in the office yet.

ever notice that when you are talking to stacy, he is just starring at the floor, he suffers from adult attention deficeit disorder and its a shame that they allow someone, with that condition, run a business...the reason he follows up on nothing is because he retains nothing from any given conversation...i have witnessed phil talking to him in the backroom or back of the glasshouse and he is doing the same thing...starring at the floor, retaining nothing that his boss is telling him. if phil had any business sense he would notice this and correct it...maybe its "not company policy"...along the same lines as not having a paper shredder.

Token front man gotta have a GM that is not white or someone might claim discrimination. He couldn't be a Gm in any other concept, the GMs there would eat his lunch and the other managers in the restaurant would eat his lunch. He hasn't got a chance any where but here.
