It's Saturday night. There is an alley manager, a weed wacker, and two trainees running food. Over all the noise could be heard the KM yelling from behind the line. "I need a runner, I need a runner." What was everyone doing? Maybe we need a new alley manager.

haven't you heard that the new rule is that you run your own food. that is why the cooks call for you and also why food just sits in the window with servers leaning in the alley. i saw servers picking up a check, throw it back down on the tray and walk out of the kitchen empty handed. i thought we were team players.
unfortunatly, there is no teamwork in this store! there should be. there are people that always want their food run, but never offer to run anyone else's food. our store would run a lot smoother if there was teamwork!
They alley manager was Richard, that's why nothing was getting done.

i am sick to death of hearing. FOOD RUNNER. why don't they hire a person to run food for 4 hours.
not sure if you noticed, but on busy shifts, we have a food runner. On shifts that aren't busy, run the food yourself. The only reason you are hearing FOOD RUNNER so often is because there is NO teamwork at our store. Instead of helping their co-workers, people stand around with their thumb up their ass staring at the 5 trays in the window that are ready to go.
What's this about winn in the office for long periods of time? He is the only one that really seems to care about us. It never fails almost as soon as he gets there the other managers just up an disappear leaving him to run the place alone. The poor guy doesn't catch a break either. He closes just about every shift he works. How's that for his family life.
Derrick and Wynn closed every single shift. I think Laura would close once a month. Now that Derrick is gone, Wynn is closing every shift this week. Apparantly Stacy, Laura and Russ don't have the ability to close.
when i think o all the times i was on the line and richard would "accidentally'rub against me and say sorry now i know why he was getting a free feel what a pig. If i had known what he was doing i would have kicked his ass. He sucks as a so called manager he knows not what hes doing at all. What a peice of shit!!!!!

Now that they have run off Wynn too, I wonder who will do all the closings? If Laura does them we are in trouble ... she will be in a foul mood all the time then because you know how much she hates to close and if Stacey does them we are still in trouble because Mr no personality may visit your table and ruin the guest meal. I don't think Russ or Richard know how to close. Great just what we needed .... another Managment change.... they might have the right idea .... get rid of a bad manager but they always screw it up and get rid of the wrong one. Jack was great Derrick was great and Wynn was great but no they get rid of them and keep the bitch the jellyfish and mr touchy feely
what the hell, are you guys soo slammed with your 4 table sections you can't manage to run your own food and keep up with your sidework? Maybe O'charley's IS too high class for you people, I highly suggest going back to school! or showing up NOT stoned...try that and see where it takes you!
