Bus Drop Table

Here's a good idea and movement in a positive direction. During the three busy weekend shifts the bussers now station someone in the dish pit behind a table so everyone can just drop their dirty dishes and get back to the dining room. Instead of getting filthy dumping and sorting waste and dishes, the servers are able to return to their stations out front. This makes for better service and quicker table turns. Kudos to whoever started this.

Wynn started the drop table the weekend before he left. Both Friday night and saturday night it was great.

this is a great idea, but on the downside, this will make servers lazy. on the nights that is no drop table, they will leave their dirty dishes in the dish pit without proper placement.

Honestly what takes so long on putting dishes in dish pit? Big circles with big circles and ovals with ovals....what about that is difficult oh and washing your hands? It should take 15 seconds...

why is this moving in right direction? you are showing that the busers cant do the job they are hired for so someone else has to do it for them and the wiater has to take more time from there busy job to do this to. how hard is it to empty table when someone leaves? if there are three busers on night shift and each one is actually working, there is no way a server should ever have to bus there own table. if a table of four left every 2 minutes that is 30 tables leaving in an hour with three busers that is 10 tables to bus per hour. unless they take more than 6 minutes to bus and empty dishes wich you should be fired if you are this slow then they should be able to keep up. i can bus a party of 10 wipe and reset the tables in less then 6 minutes. it isnt brain science people.
