Birthday Bungle
It is hard to recruit singers for that loved birthday song. What's really bad is when you get a group of singers together and then sing to the wrong table. Yes, last week our chorus sang to the wrong table and I think the server did not even realize it. Now that takes talent. There is a reason for three table sections and this goes to prove it. If every server had a 3-table section on weekends it would be all right.

Why do we still sing that song. It annoys a lot of guests. It would be nicer if the manager just stopped by with a cake and a thank you for coming to chux. Of course that would mean the manager would have to be available.
That was funny!!! They were looking at us like... say what? Thanks for the free cake though! I agree with the poster that the manager should come out and give cake and say thanks and that would further help to not embarrass those that don't want to be sang to. Also it would keep the servers free to work on their own tables and not spend the time to wait for others to come to sing, waist time singing and even sing off key, etc. Come on managers, let's quit this nonsense and quit the singing. Let's focus on the tables we have/people and not on anything else, we CAN help turn this place around. I hate it here but we are not the only ones we should be thinking about. We make money from our service and our consistency and our attitudes, let's fix this place and the problems it has.
