Sunday Night Burn-Out
Why is Sunday night such a dreaded shift? Can it be because management only schedules 7 servers? Almost every one of these is working a double at the end of the weekend and following "Brunch from Hell." Guests are certainly not receiving the service they deserve. Employees are tired and cooks are fried for the same reasons. How about some additional fresh talent for this shift.

Stop running off good employees and hire some more decent ones. They need to pay attention to the toll the weekends take on people.
it is difficult on the ones that do come in only at night too! it should definately be more. hostesses have to slam the 3 people that come in at four and sometimes go on a wait because all the doubles need a break. they shouldn't have doubles on sunday at all. The night shift should be a completly new crew. Managers don't care though. what makes it worse is that Laura will have doubles scheduled at 4:00. They don't get cut until 3, so of course they won't be on at 4. Usually not until 5. What is so difficult to understand when you make the schedule to make the doubles come on at 5 or 5:30?
Laura drinks too much to have the power of being in charge. Her decisions are affected by hangover and mood swings and whatever smooth talking, alright looking guy sucks up to her.
i agree. they need more servers. and good ones that look decent. and dont hate on laura. or any of the other managers. they may not be the best but its what ocharleys has, so make the best of it
you are right, its what oc has, when you got managers taht look like laura how are you going to get decent looking servers. i have heard guests ask about her before because she looks so rough and they are amazed taht she is a manager. you dont have to be good here. you dont have to think about hating on her, it just comes as a natural responsse to her resenting the servers for being smarter or better looking than her. the o way doesnet seem to care about appearances in this buford restaurant. if they cared at mgt, we would care at the 2.13 level.
