Employee Review/Evaluation

Does management ever have a one-on-one with employees? No. Perhaps if you request it and Stacey happens to remember that you made an appointment with him you sit down. More often than not, he forgets. He often makes a joke of it, although it is very important to you. Even if you do get a minute, does the GM listen or does he talk the whole time? He probably "told you what you wanted to hear" and promptly forgot about the meeting or your concerns. I bet if someone looked in the employee files they would find no evals for the past two years. That is because management does not care what you think and you are not worth the time it takes to sit down with you. I am sure that somewhere, in the procedures and policies, there exists a requirement for employee reviews. Like many of the company's desires and mandates, this management team ignores and is not capable of conforming or performing. This place is run like a mom and pop diner, and you know who mom and pop are!

"BEEP - BEEP!"

They know b/c they know about this site. Keep putting up here what you know and feel and how you feel and eventually they will have to address the issue. Phil overlooks this site I am sure, as do Laura, Heather, Stacey, Russ, and all others that are here.

Still if you wish to hold meetings with management, good luck. I think all the servers and all the cooks should be reviewed and if they are found lacking then they are either put on suspension or axed right then or given raise? Doubt it. Cooks should have to be held to certain cook times and if not then they should have to take pay cuts or work lunch shifts where the demands aren't as high.

Another thing about the cooks, shouldn't they have to wear appropriate health protection, i.e. gloves? They constantly touch, hold, cut, prepare food and salads without these thin layers of protection. I don't know about you but I know that many don't wash hands after bathroom break, or scratching head, or face, or coughing, sneezing and don't forget shaking hands of others or friends that stop by, etc. That is sick and unsanitary. I won't eat here again b/c of it. RR, out!

To do a written eval is beyond Stacey. He would have to compose in English. Not going to happen.
